Tommy likes it that we didn't spread the last bale of straw. He lies on it at times---stands on it as a nice lookout spot...
and uses it as a nice wind cover when resting for a moment.Tommy is a sweet adult that found himself in a very sad set of circumstances. He really needs your help. His owner brought him to the Animal Hospital for boarding on a Friday. He was going into the hospital for only a couple days. But sadly, he passed away the next day. He was so distraught about Tommy that he had the nurse call and check on him. Unfortunately, the call didn't have a happy ending for Tommy. Tommy really needs a home. Can you help, PLEASE!
At our happy birddog balooza event at Hammel Wood Dog Park, Tommy (left) was quite surprised to meet his twin Duncan (aka Wills Jr.). Guess what Tommy, Duncan was actually fostered by your own foster parents as well---who were delighted to see the happily adopted boy again.
A rare opportunity to catch Tommy outside---he usually runs without break and as quick as the wind...not easy to catch a photo opportunity.
Though Tommy has a big yard to run in at his foster home, his eyes became really big when we arrived at Wauconda Dog Park. He happily started to explore---it took us a while to catch up with him, which finally took place at the well, where Tommy got a drink.

We found out that once we took station at a picnic table in the woods, that Tommy was all too happy to check in with us frequently and also lie down to rest for a while.
A happy boy---
aaahhhh--- that feels good!
And a little nap in the sun----nice!
