Tommy's "Work Day"

When foster mommy is getting ready to head out for her job, Tommy is also "going to work". He'll be out most of the morning---taking a little nap inside over lunch---and then it's out for some more yard time in the afternoon until foster daddy has to go to work.
Tommy has a seven-day work week---he never stops. :-)

Peanut Butter Boy

Tommy loves it if we put some peanut butter in the hollow part of the knuckle bone.
He's in peanut butter heaven.

King of the yard

Tommy likes it that we didn't spread the last bale of straw. He lies on it at times---stands on it as a nice lookout spot...
and uses it as a nice wind cover when resting for a moment.

Foster daddy....

...will Santa bring me a family soon?

Tommy tries out the new doggy bed

Tommy prefers the couch to a dog bed any day, but since there was no room on any of the couches he got the bed by default.

Fosters Tommy & Rachael together

At the IBR reunion

At our happy birddog balooza event at Hammel Wood Dog Park, Tommy (left) was quite surprised to meet his twin Duncan (aka Wills Jr.). Guess what Tommy, Duncan was actually fostered by your own foster parents as well---who were delighted to see the happily adopted boy again.
A rare opportunity to catch Tommy outside---he usually runs without break and as quick as the wind...not easy to catch a photo opportunity.

A Day at Wauconda Dog Park

Though Tommy has a big yard to run in at his foster home, his eyes became really big when we arrived at Wauconda Dog Park. He happily started to explore---it took us a while to catch up with him, which finally took place at the well, where Tommy got a drink.

We found out that once we took station at a picnic table in the woods, that Tommy was all too happy to check in with us frequently and also lie down to rest for a while.

A happy boy---
aaahhhh--- that feels good!

And a little nap in the sun----nice!

Handsome Tommy!

Another couch cuddle night---NICE!!

He will always find you...

When Tommy comes inside after a hard days work running out in the yard---all he wants to do is snuggle in with you, and no matter where you are sitting he will climb right on top---the ultimate snuggle boy!

A tired boy is a good boy!

A happy Country Boy!

The verdict is out: Tommy is a country boy that's addicted to yard time.
He's happily looking for birds, sniffing out every corner---
---before racing off from end to end. This boy has SPEED!

At the end he takes a rest on the patio----yes, he even sat pretty for me, when I asked.

A sweet lap boy!

Tommy has arrived in foster care in Indianapolis and is settling in well. After running an entire day out in the yard, he came in and looked for the nearest lap---ok, foster daddy's lap will do just fine.
Tommy is a very snuggly boy and wants to be close to you.

Waiting in St. Louis

I'm all settled in here in St. Louis, MO.

I have 2 other doggies to play with and they're teaching me their cool trick around the house. One neat thing is this chair. It's a chair just for dogs! How cool is that.

I even have my own bed. But to make it perfect, I'd like to have my own family. Can you find room in your home and heart for me? Please!

My Human went to Heaven and I'm Confused and Lonely for Love

I've never been alone in a boarding situation before. I really miss my human. They tell me he went to heaven, but I don't know what that means. I really want to go home. Can you help me find a new fur-ever home. Please. I'm doing ok for now, but I really want to lay my head down on a human lap and feel secure once again. I NEED YOU!
